This position provides program management to ensure the continuity of supply and support for purchasing operations within the business units. Analysis and evaluation of key performance metrics along with compliances to agreed upon SLAs (service level agreements) is an integral function of the analyst.

Ensures that vendors are in compliance. Generates and maintains key vendor performance reports.

Asset/Risk Management
This person is responsible for purchasing materials from suppliers to support production. He/She is responsible for parts forecasting and inventory planning. This person is familiar with Buell purchasing systems, such as MRP and NCM. The person has strong understanding of common concepts, practices and procedures within the materials management field. This includes skills in cost management, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality. This person has sound skills in communicating with suppliers and other stakeholders. This person has sound skills in handling supplier issues of medium complexity independently.
Work with Store Operations to research and resolve daily store and driver issues and concerns regarding deliveries from NJDC including credit analysis.
Respond to ad hoc transportation and store concerns including special deliveries, mis-deliveries, and driver issues.
Work with Marketing on researching and resolving daily vendor supplier issues including forecasting and inventory levels of seasonal items, new item rollouts.
Work with cross-dock partners on researching and resolving daily issues. This includes taking the lead on implementing the improvement initiatives between Bunzl, Wawa, and McLane.
Manage offsite inventory and traffic of PO's outbound to NJDC from offsite facility.
Produce and maintain weekly and quarterly supply chain metrics and measures key performance indicators reports (KPI's)

Apply knowledge of customer requirements, including international customer support, supplier capabilities, product configuration, manufacturing processes, documentation and government regulations relating to spares management. Ability to manage the synchronization of supply chain activity between various organizations, customers and suppliers both internal and external. Analyze and determine proper course of action to effectively manage multi-enterprise supply chain (e.g. inventory systems, simulation, and modeling, forecasting data, and spare delivery scheduling systems, etc). Plan supply chain requirements based on customer inventory demands, supplier parts availability and material assets that are on hand or in transit. Evaluate the fulfillment of customer contractual commitments pertaining to the sale of supply chain products and services. Evaluate government spare requirements for MILSTRIP processing.
