Education/
Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred. Minimum of five-years related experience and/or; equivalent combination of education and experience. FAA A&P License, previous project management and heavy jet planning experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
•Manage WIP inventory turns for products coated in PTC to organizational targets, always striving to improve turns.
• Take ownership of PTC Orders Affected and 5-7 Custom Coat Metrics, always striving to improve service.

Material Capacity Planner is responsible for coordinating activities related to the labor and machine capacity of their service group. This person is also responsible for ensuring there is an appropriate flow of product to meet planned requirements.
REQ:
*Prepare and interpret load reports and make recommendations to address machine and labor constraints.
*Understand the various levers that impact changes in load (i.e Regional forecast changes, Service Level changes, Planning bill changes, etc.) Make recommendations to use/change these levers as appropriate.

Support Supply Chain planning cycle processes including Forecasting & Distribution Requirements.

The successful candidate for this position will maintain the overall production schedule within Althea's ERP System in the Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) module. The Supply Chain Planner will work closely with Althea's operational departments to ensure that GMP production schedule is maintained accurately and that all activities related to the procurement, receiving, releasing, allocation, and requisitioning of all materials related to each individual project is conducted in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will track each project within the ERP system and confirm that all activities are captured. In addition, the Supply Chain Planner will analyze resource constraints and the implications of alternative decisions in planning in order to optimize Supply Chain and Operational performance.
This position, reporting in to our Corporate Logistics organization, has the accountability to drive improvements in the supply chain. This position is accountable to ensure production requirements are effectively deployed to our global manufacturing plants and to manage demand and supply balancing. This position will interact with Plant Materials Managers and Marketing Product Managers. It will also require interaction with Purchasing and Suppliers as necessary to drive improvements in the supply chain. The ability to derive meaningful information from our systems and communicate its impact to the business to both leadership team and operations personnel in order to drive change is a key aspect of this role.
Develop cost effective production and materials (raw and packaging) plans, in an SAP environment, supporting assigned product groups and ensuring all targeted customer service, inventory levels and costs are being met.
Execute material requisitions, orders, and releases in a timely and efficient manner. Develop and utilize economic order quantities.
Ensure product and materials have desired freshness. Diligently work to minimize “aged” materials and product obsolescence. Lead the disposition process for the site.
Ensure that all requirements, especially materials, are accurately reflected in SAP in a timely manner. Properly communicate any exceptions to the normal time-fence.
Comply with safety stock policy elements dictated by Central Planning, accounting for lot sizes/cycle times, to reduce Total Delivered Economic Cost. Review and implement all planning parameters and master data.
